Taking Care of the Groom on Your Wedding Day
Wedding planning tends to put a lot of attention on the bride—and for good reason. But the groom deserves to feel celebrated, relaxed, and completely taken care of, too. At The Orchid, we believe the guys should enjoy the wedding day just as much as the girls. That starts long before the ceremony.

Give the Guys Their Own Space
The Orchid has a dedicated Groom’s Suite designed with the guys in mind.
Instead of getting ready in a cramped hotel room or trying to find somewhere to hang out, the groom and his crew have a comfortable place to call their own.
Get dressed. Turn on some music. Tell stories. Play a few games. Have a drink. Take pictures. Enjoy some time together before the day really gets going.
And because everything is happening on site, there's no worrying about where everyone needs to be next.
Bring the Barber to Them
Why should the bride have all the pampering?
The Orchid can help make getting ready part of the experience by bringing an on-site barber to pamper the guys before the ceremony. (Outlaw Barbershop!)
A fresh cut, beard trim, hot towel, or straight-razor touch-up can turn getting ready into something the guys actually look forward to.
It's also a great way to give the groom and his wedding party a little downtime together while making sure everyone looks their best.
Don't Forget to Feed Them
Hungry groomsmen aren't exactly known for being patient.
Plan some food and snacks for the groom and his crew while they're getting ready. Keep it easy, keep it available, and make sure everyone has plenty of time to eat before the ceremony.
The goal isn't to rush through the morning. It's to enjoy it.
Let Him Enjoy His People
Some of the groom's favorite wedding memories may happen before he ever sees his bride.
The jokes with his best friends. His dad helping with his tie. The stories that somehow get funnier every time they're told. The last-minute pep talk. The high fives before heading to the ceremony.
Give him time to enjoy those moments.
Give Him a Moment of His Own
Whether it's a handwritten letter from his bride, a special gift from his parents, or simply a few quiet minutes alone, give the groom a chance to pause and take it all in.
He's been planning this day, too.
And when the moment finally arrives, he deserves to walk into that ceremony feeling excited—not exhausted from spending the entire day rushing around.
Make Getting Ready Part of the Wedding Day
One of the biggest advantages of getting ready at The Orchid is that the wedding day starts the moment you arrive.
The bride has her own beautiful space to get ready with her girls, while the groom and his guys have their own suite and experience.
Everyone gets to settle in, spend time with the people they love, and enjoy the anticipation without spending the morning driving from place to place.
Because He Gets Married Too
The wedding day isn't just about the bride getting ready to walk down the aisle.
It's about the groom, too.
He deserves a comfortable place to get ready. He deserves a little pampering. He deserves good food, great friends, plenty of laughs, and a few quiet moments to take it all in.
At The Orchid, we've created spaces for both sides of the wedding party to enjoy the day—not just prepare for it.
Take care of the groom. Let him have some fun. Give him a day he'll remember, too.
Because when the music starts, the doors open, and he sees his bride for the first time, he'll be glad he got to enjoy every moment leading up to it.
